Welcome to the homepage of the NetSys (Networked Systems) lab at Stony Brook University. Our lab works on problems in the intersection of networking and systems, with a current focus on smartphones and wearable devices.

 

News

  • January 2017: A position paper on PrIA (Private Intelligent Assistant) is accepted at HotMobile 2017.

  • December 2016: ReCON work on modeling energy consumption of mobile browsers accepted for publication at Sigmetrics 2017. Congratulations to Yi and Javad!

  • Dec 2016: WebGaze paper accepted at NSDI. Congratulations to Conor Kelton and Jihoon Ryoo.

  • August 2016: Aruna is facilitating the Girls Who Code club at the Comsewogue Library in Port Jefferson Station.

  • June 2016: Aruna, Javad, and Yi attended the AT&T Research Academic Summit.

  • April 2016: Aruna receives NSF CRII award to study the bottlenecks in mobile page load performance.

  • February 2016: Aruna receives a Google Research Award to work on improving mobile Web performance.
